"Blessed is the man who endures temptation; for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him." (James 1:12, NKJV)
When I'm tempted to do those things again, I'm reminded by that verse. It gives me assurance that His promises will never fail me if I would obey His word and His will, and not my own. If I choose to sin again, if I choose to do things that would hurt my Lord again, I'm like a dog that keeps coming back to its vomit.
The battle is in our minds. Let the Spirit conquer it so that we will never fall into such kind of temptations. God bless! =)
