(James 1:12, NKJV) When I'm tempted to do those things again, I'm reminded by that verse. It gives me assurance that His promises will never fail me if I would obey His word and His will, and not my own. If I choose to sin again, if I choose to do things that would hurt my Lord again, I'm like a dog that keeps coming back to its vomit. The battle is in our minds. Let the Spirit conquer it so that we will never fall into such kind of temptations.
