perfect, they should take more enfasis on doing it over and over
I think it is a blessing.
I think it’s a wonderful thing to do, especially in a worldly system where god is harshly resented and shunned and evil is highly accepted
I believe it’s a wonderful thing if your actions can speak for themselves. I found it wonderful to see great character people like Drew and even Tim Tebow give credit to Our Lord JESUS CHRIST. I do have problems when other sports stars speak so wonderful about JESUS than act like pagans afterward. I believe GOD’s people should lead by example….and if you can’t…please keep it to yourself.
I find it refreshing when people who have success
thank their savior Jesus Christ. It was very moving
especially as he held his son. Kurt Warner is another player who I admire.
Wow! It’s nice to hear that no matter how famous they are right now, they still stand for their faith and didn’t forget that their success is from God.
Hmm.. Manny Pacquiao, the pride of the Philippines, just popped up in my mind. After every boxing victories he’s obtained, he never forgets to thank the Lord!
Yes Manny is great. Although he is not an American I always root for him because of his devotion to the Lord.
I read an article last year with in the RBC ministies archives that said one of its christian reporters was interviewing at a very popular game and noticed all the worldly activity going on around him. He ask one player who was a christian how does he sustain from such influance? and he informed him that although all these things are around you, you are to set the example as CHRIST did. Be a light in the mist of darkness. It doesn’t matter were you work, we as people of GOD must set the example to the best of our ability too so Christ like behavior.
It was heartwarming to watch Drew brees holding his infant son. The look of love on his face is almost indescribableIt certainly showed the world what his priorites are. Job well done.
I’m an Louisianian and was so proud to see evidence of God’s anointing in Drew’s life. While watching, the thought that occurred to me was Jesus’ statement that “He came unto HIs own and they received Him not.” So many times we are to be reminded that God’s word states that He will reveal HIs power in various ways- be it through humans, situations, circumstances, etc. He will make known who He is in the lives of believers. Some will recognize and others won’t.
God has an amazing way of showing the world “He alone is God and He will make known HIs presence to all seeking HIM.”
We must never be afraid to make known who we serve. For the word tells us, “If you are ashamed to own me before your fellow man, I will be ashame to own you before my Father!”
Any time someone who is clearly in the limelight is unashamed to announce their Faith and Christianity, my heart leaps for joy!
Zach Johnson thanked God when he won the Masters.
Tony Dungee thanked God when his team won the Superbowl.
Now, Drew Brees has thanked God for His life-giving presence.
