Ted,
Thank you for your encouragement. I suspect I 'get' more from your words than you do from mine!!
loananna,
I'm so pleased for you, that's wonderful news. Having previously worked in intensive care, I know it must have been very stressful for you all. Isn't it great that whatever happens we have the truth of Psalm 61v3.
Stupart,
I'm glad your encouraged to keep praying my friend. God bless you.
Thanks for all the other comments too - every one an encouragement.

I am beginning to understand that my time in prayer is much more about building my relationship with God and not nearly so much about Him answering any particular requests I may make. I believe God desires us to have a very deep personal relationship with Him and He is pleased when we regularly and persistently seek Him in prayer.

First of all I have to say, Praise God for the miracle in loananna's life. God does always answer our prayers, sometimes they aren't the answer that we want or thought that we needed and sometimes they are but He answers none the less. I have learned this year about things happening in God's time and what a blessing. I too struggled with praying and not getting the answer that I wanted, when I wanted it. Then I found out that it is all in God's time, and like a child needs to learn it isn't all about what I want but rather that my heavenly Father knows what is best for me,I also have learned not to give up because God doesn't give up on us. He is faithful to the end, and He is always on time.

All this past week I have been on my knees desperately praying for a healing miracle in my sister, who was on life support and in a coma due to bacterial mennigistis. I enlisted many prayer warriors in also praying with me, and the Lord answered!!! She came out of the coma, off life support and is getting stronger each day!!Amen I constantly told my niece and nephew, that the Lord does anwer prayer, sometimes to show his almighty strength so that unbelievers will fall to their knees and look up. I know a seed was planted to many souls that the Lord wanted to reach to and however the Lord chooses use me or anyone I can tell you I am in awe of his Love and Mercy!!
Thank you father for your many promises, especially Isaiah 41:10
