Paul writes, “Give thanks for everything to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ” (Ephesians 5:20). Why are you thankful today?

I’m thankful that I am saved. I am so blessed with a wonderful husband, three children, their spouses and 7 grandchildren. I am so excited to have them here for a Thanksgiving meal. My dad is coming too. I am thankful for my church, my job, and all my friends. I am thankful for my brother-in-law Ted and all my relation. I am soooo blessed.

I am thankful that i have believed in a true and living God.

I am thankful that He has done many wonderful things in my life even when i was and is still at times disobedient. When i learn to trust in Him patiently, He shows me the way to a God focused church to build up my spiritual life, family relationship, my work attitude and relationships with others and helping those who are less privileged. He blessed my family with my 2 boys, my parents and my mother-in-law following the faith. It took my parents a long time to be saved as it isn’t easy to convert an idol worshipper. Praise God for His great mercy. There are so many things to be thankful for. I am truly and wonderfully blessed. Though we may not celebrate Thanksgiving in the UK, i believe everyday is a Thanksgiving Day when we learn to count our blessings.

Happy Thanksgiving Day to all in America!

A few weeks ago a man at church opened our service asking “What if all you had today was what you thanked God for yesterday?” All I can say is – I wouldn’t have much :( Asking God to forgive me and help me to remember — Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. 1 Thessalonians 5:16 – 18
I am most thankful that Jesus died on the cross so that I can have a personal relationship with The Living God and I pray that everyone I know and love might know Him too. Thank you Jesus!!
