Today I am thankful for Jesus who gave up His life so that I might have eternal life and know the truth of God’s love. I thank God everyday for my family, friends, home, work… I try to take moments throughout the day to thank God for the abundant blessings that He pours into my life. Several months ago a challenge was put forth. It said “What if the only things you had today were the things you thanked God for yesterday?” I pray that whatever you are going through that the Lord would bless you and give you peace today and so, so much to be thankful for. In Jesus name.
Amen, purestrength. I love your heart of gratitude and the fact that you concluded by praying a blessing for others in the ODJ community. What a great example!
i’m thankful for the great, cloudy weather God has given since the afternoon, which i thought would otherwise be impossible when I looked at the dark, gloomy clouds in the morning.
I believe each day there is something that we can be thankful for when we take time to think about it.
Today i am thankful for the opportunity to work with a group of primary school children and to establish a relationship with them to get to know about our Great God. I am also thankful that i can pray for an elderly friend who is not well and brightening up their day.
I am most grateful that i am still receiving a gift (a Christian inspirational book) from a friend who is now with God in heaven. Even she and her husband are not around anymore, she continues to encourage me with God’s Word. What a legacy she has left behind, and it spurs me to think about what kind of a legacy i want to leave behind for my loved ones and others when it is time for me to be with the Lord. Isn’t the love of God wonderful? Definitely!
